At BLVD Pilates, you can practice Reformer Pilates in three ways: in a small group, in a private class or in a semi-private class. Each format has its advantages. Here’s how to choose the one that best matches your goals, your level and your budget.
The group class: the energy of the community
Our group Reformer Pilates classes bring together a small number of participants, so each one receives attentive coaching. It’s the most popular format, and for good reasons:
- the group’s energy motivates and makes every session dynamic;
- the price per session is more accessible;
- the schedule offers many time slots, from morning to evening;
- it’s a great way to meet other women who share the same vision of wellness.
The group class is perfect for healthy beginners as well as experienced practitioners who want to maintain and advance their practice. You can check the schedule and book a group class online in seconds.
The private class: fully tailored coaching
The private class is a 50-minute one-on-one session with an instructor, entirely dedicated to you. Everything is adapted: the exercises, the pace, the resistance and the goals. It’s the ideal format if:
- you have an injury, chronic pain or a specific condition;
- you want to learn the basics in depth before joining a group;
- you have a precise goal, such as preparing for a sport or returning to training;
- you prefer the privacy of a one-on-one session.
The private class costs more per session, but progress is often faster thanks to constant corrections. Book a private class directly in our online calendar.
The semi-private class: the best of both worlds
The semi-private class is done in pairs, with a friend, your partner, your sister or your mother. You get highly personalized coaching while sharing the experience, and the cost is split between two people. It’s also a lovely way to motivate each other. To book, visit the semi-private classes page.
How to make your choice?
Ask yourself these few questions:
- What is your main goal? Moving, toning and meeting people: the group. A precise goal or a specific condition: private.
- What is your level? If you’re starting without constraints, the group is perfect. If you want to master the technique quickly, a few private sessions make a big difference.
- What is your budget? The group is the most economical, especially with a package or membership. Semi-private offers an interesting compromise.
- What motivates you? The energy of a group, the attention of a one-on-one or the complicity of a session for two?
Combining formats
Many of our clients combine formats. For example, they start with two or three private classes to learn the basics, then join group classes. Others take one private class a month to work on a specific point, in addition to their regular group classes. There is no wrong formula: what matters is finding the one that makes you want to come back.
Pricing
All our prices, from introductory offers to packages and memberships, are detailed on the Pricing page. Prices for private and semi-private classes are shown in the booking calendar. Still hesitating? Write to us: our team will be happy to advise you.
